Phew! July was perhaps the most difficult month for me, with my writing energy dropping to an all-time low. I do apologise for being erratic with my blogging, but this was a huge change for me and I’m trying (somewhat successfully so far) to not feel guilty about it. I desperately need a boost of inspiration to lift me from my gloom and I’m so glad I had the foresight to make The Inspiration Circle a monthly series.
Write what disturbs you, what you fear, what you have not been willing to speak about.

The months ahead are going to be filled with unpredictability. With equal parts dread and hope, I’m stepping into a new phase of life in July. Before I do that, however, I want to put myself in a positive frame of mind. That is why I decided to bring this feature back at this juncture.
The future is completely open and we are writing it moment to moment.

Welcome to the first ever Inspiration Circle of 2017! As you might know, January was an average writing month for me but a good reading one. To make sure February is better, here is a little motivation for myself as well as any of you readers who might need it. It’s going to be shorter than the usual ones because I’m typing this in a tearing hurry. (I feel like this is a recurring pattern in January. Hmmm.) Let’s get to the good stuff now.
There’s a reason self-help books sell like hot cakes – it’s because they’re packed with positivity. The fact remains that every once in a while we need a pick-me-up to meet the challenges of life with renewed fervour. While I’d like to live in that ideal world where I am motivated to write daily all by myself, I realised that’s not going to happen any time soon. The result of that line of thought was The Inspiration Circle, which is aimed at providing that extra boost for writers and general readers of my blog.
