It’s weird, because I haven’t regularly practiced Spanish for a long, long time. But now and then, if I hear or read certain words, their meanings come back to me in a fingersnap. I’m reading Anna-Maria McLemore’s When The Moon Was Ours right now, and one of the protagonists is a Latino girl named Miel. Before the meaning of her name was even hinted at, I remembered it was Spanish for “honey.”
I remember that word from all my years of Spanish lessons. 😀

I never learnt Spanish, but it seemed like an interesting word. That must make you feel good! 😅

A language learnt never truly leaves us, it seems like. 🙂 That was one more word I didn’t know about. Thanks! 😊
